Agro-Mega Planters

The result of an architectural competition focused on tactical urbanism.

The idea centers around food security and water retention for urban communities by applying modular "mega" planters around the city. A single planter fits in the same area as a standard parking space which allows streets to deploy the modules individually or at scale. This tactical response gives more power to local communities to determine how their streets behave.
